STORY & PHILOSOPHY

Maureen is a vibrant and passionate full-time artist who has been creating and selling her serene oil paintings for the past 25 years. In addition to that, she has been the instructor for private "sip and paint" acrylic painting parties at client's houses, and she recently started a "Brush with Life" blog-style column for the Susquehanna County Independent.

She thoroughly enjoys bringing breathtakingly beautiful imagery to life on canvas. Her passion is to create pieces that connect with the viewer, evoking emotions, and creating such a personal and meaningful experience that they would be welcome in any home, office, private or public institution. She especially enjoys the collaboration process of commissioned work and welcomes every opportunity with open arms and heart.

Her current clientele includes both local admirers, as well as a large number of worldwide private collectors. Canvas sizes range from 4 inches to 4 feet and the breadth of content is just as extensive. Her subject matter includes portraits of people and pets, as well as beautiful landscapes and buildings.
